Target released their highly anticipated Kate Spade collaboration on April 12, and there was a lot of buzz around the items.
I am excited to review the Kate Spade x Target collaboration! The collection brings the accessible side of designer that Target is known for, making it possible for everyone to indulge in luxury brands without breaking the bank.
I browsed the collection beforehand to see what the buzz was about. I was immediately drawn to the vibrant colors and playful designs. The collection features an array of products, including stylish bags, chic home decor, and accessories, jewelry, handbags, clothing, home decor, food and party supplies! All these items are influenced by Kate Spade's signature quirky and colorful palate. I found myself loving the unique patterns and bold prints.
Normally, I tend to steer clear of collaboration drops, as they can often be overwhelming and filled with items that don’t resonate with my personal style. However, I had to get my hands on a few items. There were many standout pieces that truly caught my eye.
When the time came for the collection to drop, I knew I had to act quickly, as this collection was in high demand. With this in mind, I quickly made my selections before the popular items sold out. Many items did sell out within 10 minutes of the launch. The anticipation of unboxing my purchases and styling them for the season ahead only added to my excitement. I bought all my items online, so it made purchasing more enjoyable. I can hardly wait to show off my finds!

I was not able to get my number one item I wanted, which was the strawberry basket bag. However, I was able to get other items I had my eyes on. Please keep in mind that these are my opinions based on my personal style and taste. With that in mind, let's review what I got!

Why I'm Loving It: These earrings are worth the $10! They're the perfect addition for spring, by adding a unique statement to my casual outfits. Even though I usually stick to neutral colors, these earrings are a fantastic way to spice up my style. Plus, they're hypoallergenic, making them ideal for my sensitive skin and perfect for long-term wear. They feel sturdy and don't weigh down my ears at all!
The "LUCKY" Gold Tone Necklace - $15.00

Why I'm Loving It: These claw clips are durable and can hold my hair in place all day. These clips also add some style to my hair game. The strawberry claw clip is my favorite out of the three as it adds a little extra charm to my hairstyles.

Why I'm Not Loving It: The bad is perfect for times when you do not need to carry many items. However, since it is only 7-inches, it makes it hard to fit certain essential items. I like having my phone in my bag which I can't do with this crossbody bag. I can fit a few cards and some cash but not much else.
Polka Dot Crossbody Bag - $35.00

The bag is compact yet spacious enough to hold essentials like a phone, wallet, and keys. It also has an adjustable strap that can be removed. This bag is practical for everyday use!
Why I'm Not Loving It: Though this bag is spacious for many every day essential items, I wish it had an inside pocket. I like to keep my items in my bag organized so I can easily grab what I need. Utilizing a pouch could help solve this problem. For the price, I think adding a pocket would make the price worth it.
"It's In The Bag" Tote Bag - $50.00

Why I Love It: This bag is not only perfect for my job, but it is a great travel bag! It is spacious enough to hold my laptop, notebooks, large wallet and my other work-related items. The bag is sturdy enough to hold the weight of all my items. This bag is also perfect as a carry on for a quick weekend trip. The pocket makes it easy to store all my smaller items. I will be using this bag consistently.
Beaded Polka Dot Drawstring Bucket Bag - $45.00

Why I'm Not Loving It: This bag did not excite me as much as the other bags. The drawstrings made the bag hard to close. I am a fan of the beaded embellishments but as far as the bag overall, I do not think it was worth the $45 price point.

Why I Love It: This bag is worth the $45. It has a magnetic closure that makes it easy to open and close. This is a conversation starter. Since it is made out of metal, light constantly reflects off of it. This bag is fun and perfect for a night out. This will be one of my main bags for outings.
